Clare leads the Beyond Performance team. Her greatest strengths lie in her strategic insight, ability to translate needs into solutions, and commercial acumen. These strengths have been developed over a 25-year career in Human Resources working at a senior level with businesses like The Warehouse, Price Waterhouse Cooper, 3Com and Arcadia Group in the UK and New Zealand. Clare’s knowledge of the way in which human capability influences business performance has moved her from more generalist HR to specialise in organisational development and learning and development.

Ian Parkes

Client Services Manager

Ian joined Beyond Performance in early 2014 to support the delivery of our services to clients. He is responsible for overall programme management, our Learning Management System, client reporting and our training venue, The Clarian Room. After a career in finance and client services, Ian brings a process-driven approach to the team that keeps client needs firmly in focus. His aptitude for analytics ensures that Beyond Performance can support their value proposition with accurate programme benchmarking and delivery metrics.

Ali Marshall

Lead Consultant

Ali’s passion is enabling better business performance through building capability in people, teams and organisations.
She has had over 20 years’ experience in learning and development with Accor Hospitality, BP Oil and BurgerFuel as well as working in Quality Assurance for an ITO. Ali has worked with diverse groups of employees; from frontline retail/hospitality staff to first level leaders up to senior leadership teams. She has worked on projects to implement change, improve capability, create efficiencies and drive better business results.

Mary Johnson

Lead Consultant

Mary is a senior organisational development consultant with over 15 years’ in-house experience working in PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK and New Zealand. She works with business leaders, individuals and teams to help identify and remove barriers with the objective of unlocking potential and achieving specific goals. Mary has consulted, designed and implemented a wide range of cultural and transformational change initiatives. These include developing programmes with the London Business School; designing and facilitating key leadership programmes; and service delivery transformation.
