Action Learning at its best

Organisations often find themselves with lots of projects and opportunities to explore but few people with the right skills to focus on them.  The BeyondReal programme supports talent development within teams by focusing on developing skills and gaining knowledge while resolving real business challenges.  The team selected for this programme will be involved throughout the process: from defining the scope, identifying and creating solutions to presenting the business case for change and then executing the plan.

Action Learning - solving real problems

As part of your talent management strategy, we will focus on a project, challenge or opportunity that your business is looking to resolve, progress or leverage.  The team selected for talent development will work with designated internal leadership sponsors and mentors as well as external subject matter experts and facilitators.  The learning will occur on the job, in the classroom, with their project group and with their coach and mentors.  The team will be involved in identifying their own learning needs, as individuals and as a group, so that tailored learning interventions can be delivered just when they are needed.

This programme is designed to support talent retention and is suited to the development of a talent group, a leadership team, your emerging leaders or teams within business units.  The participants will develop problem-solving, project management and execution skills while implementing the solution to an identified challenge.

Beyond the classroom

There is no better way to develop competency and talent growth ‘on the job’ than this programme.  Participants also learn how to balance ‘business as usual’ with the delivery of a significant project.

Each programme is allocated a custodian whose role is to ensure that every participant has what they need to get the most from the experience.  The custodian also ensures that the project stays on track, liaises with internal sponsors and makes sure that the right experts are available and briefed at the right time.
